We started Domain in 2020 to make lying meditation accessible remotely
Distance should not limit access to quality instruction. Our platform connects learners across Canada with experienced guides who understand the unique rhythm of this practice.
What lying meditation actually requires
1.Physical stillness without physical tension. The position itself removes strain, but maintaining awareness while lying down demands deliberate mental engagement.
2.Instructors who recognize when stillness becomes stagnation. Remote sessions require verbal precision because visual cues are limited.
3.A schedule that accommodates regional time zones. We serve learners from Halifax to Vancouver, which means session times span eight hours of daily availability.
4.Group dynamics that support individual progress. Some learners thrive with collective energy, others need private instruction to work through specific challenges.
How we structure learning
- Live sessions with real-time guidance, not pre-recorded sequences
- Individual pathways that adjust based on how your practice develops
- Group cohorts limited to twelve participants for meaningful interaction
- Private bookings when you need focused attention on specific aspects
- Instructors trained in verbal cueing designed for remote contexts
- Session recordings available for review within 72 hours
